The healing wing

Al Qawareer

القوارير

“Where purity meets strength.” A soulful extension of Markaz Al Midād, created for women seeking clarity, emotional healing and spiritual growth.

رفقاً بالقوارير

Qawārīr means glass vessels. The Prophet ﷺ used the word for the women travelling with his caravan, instructing the driver to go gently with them. Glass is not weak — it is made in fire, it holds what is poured into it, and it lets light through. It simply asks to be handled with care.

From private counselling to sisterhood retreats, Al Qawareer holds space for women in their silent struggles — without asking them to simply have more ṣabr.

What we offer

Four ways in

Mosque Lamp, Egypt (Cairo) or Syria, 14th century

1:1 Counselling

Private sessions for the things that are hard to say out loud.

Confidential one-to-one sessions held in a faith-based framework, drawing on both Islamic guidance and clinical training. Sessions are a space to be heard without judgement — not a place to be told you simply need more ṣabr.

  • Pre-marital and marital counselling
  • Post-divorce healing
  • Burnout and emotional support
  • Time management and discipline

Workshops & Healing Circles

Sitting with other women who recognise what you are carrying.

Small group sessions built around a theme, combining teaching with facilitated discussion. Much of the benefit comes from the room itself — the recognition that a struggle you thought was yours alone is shared.

  • Emotional healing
  • Attachment and boundaries
  • Spiritual growth for women
  • Self development
  • Faith and feelings

Online Series

Structured journeys you can take from wherever you are.

Longer-form online series that follow a theme over several sessions, for women who want depth and continuity rather than a single workshop.

Events & Retreats

Time away, in person, with sisterhood.

In-person gatherings blending spiritual learning, therapeutic tools, journalling, ṣuḥbah and sisterhood — a deliberate interruption of ordinary life.

  • Spiritual learning sessions
  • Therapeutic tools and journalling
  • Ṣuḥbah and companionship
  • Rest, away from the everyday

On confidentiality

What is shared in a session stays in that session. Counselling is private, and nothing you bring is discussed elsewhere or used as teaching material.

Al Qawareer offers faith-based counselling and support. It is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a licensed clinician in your country.

You do not have to explain it well

Reach out even if you cannot yet name what is wrong. That is often where the work begins.
